McCarthy’s, Upstairs @ McCarthy’s and Toad was a historic music venue in Cambridge, recently purchased and saved from demolition by the owners of The Burren in Somerville. Tom Bianchi and 24 Hour Music, longtime patron, artist and talent buyer for The Burren has been tagged to start up this brand new music series!
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION ~
– Across the street from the Porter Sq T stop. Red Line and Commuter Rail Fitchburg Line
– Bus – 77, 83, and 96 all stop at Porter Square
PARKING ~ Parking is tricky for sure! Leave time to park, or take public transportation.
– There are few miracle parking spots on Porter Rd, right next to McCarthy’s.
– There are 2 miracle parking spots across the street to the left of McCarthy’s on Davenport Rd (one way coming from Elm Street).
– There are more meter spots as you head west on Mass Ave, both sides.
– There is a big lot across the street but its STRICTLY 2 hours.
